Gananoque, ON: The OLG Thousand Islands Casino will host their $500 buy-in Winter Poker Classic starting Thursday, March 5th thru Friday, March 7th. The Thousand Islands Winter Classic has an estimated prize pool of $78,000. Players start with 5,000 in tournament chips and receive 30 minute blind rounds. OLG Winners Circle Reward members receive a $25 discount on admin fees. The 120 player field will be split into two Main Event Qualifier days, 60 players will compete on Thursday, March 5th (Day 1A) and 60 players will compete on Friday, March 6th (Day 1B). The top 15 players from Day 1A and 1B will move on to comprise the final 30 players for the Main Event on Saturday, March 7th.
