The price is right, but the room can be very crowded. Morning tournaments with a cheap buy in and breakfast included. Superbowl events, (football night)with rounds when your team scores. Often host great sats for larger events. Refreshments in room but only a small washroom. Showroom for larger events is also crowded. Ring game has a beginners 2-4 limit night, the rest of the time it is a 1/2NL, or 5-5 game. A lot of players find the majority of players soft, so cash game is always popular and full of action. Tournaments can be a little heavy on the admin fees, but they run a decent length, one of the only places to use antes. The game does last to long for the smaller prize pools though and after the house fees are removed and a chop or two is made, not worth it to most experienced players. High hand qualifies for entry to draws, Bad Beat Jackpots. Hotel attached to casino and Deerfoot is also owned by the Stampede, it has almost become "the little brother" poker room for the more prestigious of the two.

Nice room, good dealers, pretty good action on the average evening. Friday and saturday nights are generally filled with 1/2 games, have seen games as large as 2/5 and 5/10 but the 5/10n only when a larger event is taking place. They will spread DC or PLO if there is interest. Self serve bev. stand and they will provide pizza or sandwiches in the early mornings Fri. & Sat. They also run a "Two for the Money" promo that pays cash for quads or better, it s a nice little bonus. One of the Best for cash games with a good mix of locals and out of towners. Tourny's tend to progress fast and the only one that is running with any regularity is the 1030am daily.
